Meditation helped my brain by slowing it down. It was like a reset for my brain. I have noticed it helps me stay calm in stressful situations.

Willing to try meditation to keep the mind goblins out
I have tried meditation in the past but have never been able to do it for a consistent period in order to make it effective. Hopefully I can make it work this time
I recognise some of what has been said about having a “busy” brain. I do things at 100mph and definitely recognise a need to slow down, appreciate the moment and not let my negative thoughts drive compulsive behaviours
I started meditating about 8 years ago. At first I found even 2-3 minutes a real challenge. I have not committed to sustained daily (or let’s be honest, near daily) meditation until recently. I find 10 minutes is a breeze now. I believe it’s helped my overall wellbeing, though I haven’t seen any help for my erections yet.
Calm my mind down
I tried it before but paused… negative thinking was making its way in. But, I’m willing to try it again. A friend recently recommended trying it in the evenings, sometimes trying it different times of the day helps.
