What did breath awareness do for you?

Took a few days off from meditating and felt the disconnect early on, consistency really is key here

This was hard doing the breathing especially the hold part

I really felt a reduction in stress. I like vagus nerve stimulation. Also kinda chilled after he meditation and left my body for a bit

That was more helpful than the box breathing alone. Really decreased my anxiety

Absolutely. I’ve done box breathing before, but this particular cadence is really effective. Very relaxed and focused afterwards.

Yes an exercise like this almost always makes me more focused on the present moment

Mediation breath work hasn’t really felt effective to me until I tried the 4 7 8 spacing just now. Feeling pretty relaxed. I kinda get it now.

My mind wandered at first, but the 4/7/8 technique helped a lot. I felt more relaxed & most aware of my breathing, taking me out of my own head for the time.

I loved this. Will definitely keep trying, and for longer.

It was a bit of a strain for me to maintain the cadence of the breathes but I want to keep practicing

I find it very difficult to quiet my brain. If I find myself thinking about nothing I’m then thinking about how odd that is and then I start thinking about bad memories. The 4/7/8 technique was really useful, it gave me something to focus on.
