If you’ve tried meditation, how did it help?

I actually get into it and don’t drop it after it not working. And I actually understand that I’m doing it correct

Hoping to release some of the constant flood of thoughts

Calms my mind. Brings me to the present

I discovered meditation when I was in a bad place in life a few years back. I had problems with a rag ring mind, depression, narcissistic people in my life and substance abuse. Mediation helped me to get away from bad influences and drugs. Was t the only thing that did it but really helped with everything else I did to get better

I am excited about trying this… on a personal note, this morning and an opportunity for sex and totally blew it! But I’m not spinning out too much. I am thinking that my inability perform was because I was still super sleepy and not really in the mood but it still was frustrating. I’ve had great wood all week this morning, I couldn’t get going!!! Frustrated, but still gonna stick it out!

Hoping to calm my mind and body so I’m no longer anxious when thinking about sex or my erections.

I’d like to get to a place of minimal stress both in life and during sex. The thought that one needs to satisfy a partner causes stress. I hope to debunk that with meditation

Would like to understand myself better and get
Out of my head when the time is right. I’m so hard on my self and I need to just learn to let
Go and focus on what’s in front of me

I took a break from Mojo for a while but I’m back now, and I remember meditation was one of the first things I learned. After meditating for a few weeks my mind wasn’t wandering nearly as much as it used to.

Better regulation

I want to lean meditation, so o could clear my mind of the everyday noise and focus on what matters.

A calm mind without a pre programmed outcome.

I’m hoping that meditation will help me more easily recognize my inner critic and help me mindfully have my inner coach take control

I’ve been using the daily meditation audios on the mojo app and they seen to be helping me regulate

I want to use meditation to regulate the effect my inner critic has on my mood and ability to enjoy sex with my spouse.

Helps to stop the clock, reconnect.

I’ve been in and out of meditation for many years… Always enjoy it, but find it hard to be consistent with my practice

Haven’t done it

tried it. very very hard to stay calm and observe your thoughts
i wasn’t very consistent with meditation but I’m sure it can change my life
I already observe thoughts in daily life and if i am strong enough - i don’t let myself go with them

I’ve done some basic meditation before to relax before sleep. I’m excited to see how it can be used to keep my inner critic at bay.
