IĀ“m not sure I understand the purpose / goal of sensate touch. IĀ“m on level 3 of the solo touch. I am able to lock into the sensations. I am comfortable with my body and can stay focused on the sensations. I do get turned on at first, and IĀ“m sure not to turn it into a masturbation session, but after about 10 minutes, I frankly begin to get board. I fear that doing this solo is greatly inferior to doing it with your partner. In that case, I can see it building anticipation and removing anxiety of performing. Alone not so much. Anyone have some insight?

I switch a bit based on a comment from here. I mentioned that i need to work ob the body-mind connection but i had the same problem as you have, except i didnāt turn on but just enjoy touching for a while. I was recommended to step back and do 5-10 mins only, the main purpose is to focus on touch and enjoy it.
