I wanted to ask about this. Recently, my gf and I were having sex, and it was actually pretty good. I was sufficiently hard and she was really enjoying herself. one or two times I felt like I was getting close to cumming but stopped myself. Since I did not want to risk cumming inside of her, I focused myself on getting my gf to cum afterwards with oral sex and finger stimulation. I was actually was able to get her to cum, but afterwards, when she tried to return the favor, I found that I was flaccid and could not get myself hard again, let alone to cum. It was strange to me because it was the first time she came and I did not. Is this common, especially when there were times during sex where if I continued I would have cum?

There have been times I haven’t cum during/after sex. Honestly, sometimes my body is just exhausted from all the work it just put in and I’ve got low energy so my need to cum has gone out the window. I think is certainly more common than you think.
As a man who was married for 30 years, I can tell you this is common. If you delay your ejaculation, or force it to not occur, there’s a good chance you won’t get it back. Remember, it’s ok for you to come first. Just be prepared to make sure she gets a chance too. Sometimes my wife would just break out the vibrator and ask me to play with her ass or touch her breasts.
