I notice there are many guys like me here who can get erect when there is stimulation (constantly jerking off or receiving a blowjob) but we lose the erection as soon as the stimulation stops. Like for instance we jerk off to get hard but as soon as we try to penetrate we lose the erection. Since there are so many of us, I wonder if it’s a physiological problem, maybe venous leaks, pelvic floor or something. Or if it’s all in our head?
Has it always been this way? I had this happen earlier this year where I suddenly needed constant stimulation. I was very in my head at this point and just as mysteriously as it appeared it disappeared and I could get hard “mentally” again.
I have the exact same problem. No solution yet. Drives me crazy.
Same here. Sometimes, I’ll get a boner just by being aroused mentally (and it’s weird, because when this happens, I just know everything works in my body at this point in time), but most of the time I need to play with myself or I go soft. I had an appointment with a pelvic floor PT this week and was diagnosed with a hypertonic PF. So will be working on that, hoping it will help. Still, the mental part is not helping and I have to work hard on that too. It’s crazy how mind and body are Connected, I know ive been anxious this last year about my erections and it surely did not help my PF.
I’ve had a similar issue. I get hard, then lose it in a hurry.
Yeah that is weird. If you can get hard just by being aroused I think that means everything works down there, but maybe your pf is pulling blood away from your penis? I don’t know. I’d appreciate if you’d share what the specialist suggests. There are no such programs where I live unfortunately.
It’s been this way since I first had sex more than 10 years ago. But that experience really messed with me and I always subconsciously think about it, so it could be psychological, but it could also be physiological. How long did it last for you?
Please take this with a grain of salt as our situations may be very different. Basically, I need to train my PF to relax. So I have a stretching routine and a strengthening workout program (kegels). I need to reinforce my pf and train him to relax (reverse kegels)
