Lack of Morning Erections?

Just wanted to make a post to start a conversation within this community. I feel as if I have had progressively lacking morning wood and I want to hear if anyone else has experienced this and what helped overcome this obstacle. I’ve struggle with my sexual health for the majority of my life but I’ve been actively trying to get better.

I’m a young adult, eat healthy, workout, meditate, etc. but I still see myself struggling with strong erections. I’ve been trying to cut alcohol as whenever I drink I never wake up with morning wood. Starting to think I might have a sleep issue or another health problem.

Again any tips are helpful or if anyone just wants to have a conversation on this post I’ll try to check it frequently. Take care to everyone who reads this!

I know when I drink around a gallon of water it’s almost a guarantee I will wake up with wood. I’m 43. When I was a teenager that wasn’t the case. I feel like as we age we really have to work for it

Also I’ve heard kegels can help with that. But at the same time I’ve also heard they can hamper morning wood. Too me that’s very frustrating

For sure staying hydrated is a key to life as a whole. I’ve actually heard that morning wood is a bodily response to holding in pee during the night

Like someone else said plenty of water can help with morning wood & also certain fruits/veg: carrots, beets, 1 clove of raw garlic before bed (good for testosterone) & a bunch more I can’t remember now. Also pelvic floor exercises to strengthen that area. But if it’s psychological it could be stress/not enough/poor quality sleep as well. The body needs enough rest to function well and poor sleep & higher stress levels can play an impactful role even if stress can seem more like background noise than something we should address as it’s affecting us

Sleep is the primary factor. If you’re aren’t getting prolonged or deep sleep, even if your hormones are optimized, you won’t get morning wood. I have struggled with both sleep apnea and insomnia. On nights I do sleep well, I usually get some. Track your sleep

I’m fighting for a sleep apnea diagnosis I average 4 apneas per hour but you need 5 or more for a mild diagnosis. Do you use CPAP?

I use it sometimes. I have moderate. I’d be surprised if a mild case was your primary cause but idk

I’ve been doing a multi kegal routine and drinking a bunch of water throughout the day.
Morning wood is making a comeback!!!
