Kegel exercises sped up?

Is it just me or did the kegel pelvic floor exercises shorten to just 3 second reps or has it always been like that?

I havenโ€™t seen this on this app yet, but on a YouTube channel I follow about male sexual health, they recommend doing both long (more than 10 seconds) and short and fast (1-2 seconds) squeezes. They say that the pelvic floor muscles have both fast and slow muscle fibers and we have to train both.

Thatโ€™s very interesting can you give the name of that channel or maybe itโ€™s against mojo rules Iโ€™m a day 8 guy so pretty new here

I believe the standard kegels are 10 second contractions x10, while the reverse kegels are 3 seconds x10 x3.

When you do them on mojo it periodically tests how long you can hold for then you do that time x10 contractions. Maybe you only held for 3 seconds by accident on that test round.
Not everyone can manage 10 seconds at the start.
