Try to practice masturbating with condoms to get more used to then. Other thing that helped me a lot was letting it open and easy to reach out, like under a pillow.

Stopping for the condom can be a mood killer, one option is to somehow make it part of foreplay. Sometimes we tend to totally stop to get the condom, and that basically throw people off a bit. If you keep playing while getting it, like a hand job while you open it, or something like that, that might help
