Anyone worked out how to use the box breath technique during sex? Maybe I’m doing it wrong, but breathing out through your mouth isn’t exactly discrete and not sure I’m fit enough to hold my breath and keep calm whilst in the middle of trying to have sex!
Hey dude, I’m led to believe that box breathing is something you do before the encounter, I could be wrong. Maybe try practicing box breathing for a little longer beforehand to compensate not doing it while in the moment?
I’ve only used it once during sex so far. After losing erection to try and re center and get out of my head. It was during a bit of a pause and I was just rubbing my cock on my wife’s clit. It was a lil weird not sure how much the breathing per say worked so much as a tool for myself to let me know that it was ok and that through mental work I could regain my erection. That’s how I used it. My wife also knows I’m on this app and am working on my issues and is supportive. I tend to box breathe before and during sex, if I’m feeling anxious just focus my breath in general
I’ve found that locking into her breath and following that rhythm to be helpful
Might also help to talk to your partner about what techniques you are using. Make it an out how you care about your partner and want to have the best sex you can with them. I bet that open honesty will make it that your partner is supportive and that you don’t need to hide it from them that you are box breathing.
