So recently I’ve had an issue that before my wife n I are about to have sex, I get a hot feeling and kinda sweaty. This is usually after we watch a series that we’ve been watching. It’s like my brain knows “the show is over, now time for sex.” The problem is my inner critic, I guess, starts talking and I hear “you’re not gonna get it up” or “it’s not gonna work so don’t waste your time.” I also sometimes have no feeling as in i can’t tell if I’m hard or not. To me this sounds crazy because I’ve never had an issue but here I am. Has anyone else had these issues? Thanks
I have that issue too. The hot / sweat thing is anxiety. I would imagine that this is something that almost everyone on here experiences in one way or another. Meditations (something you continually work on outside of these situations) help me more than the breathing exercises, but that may just be me. Try them all and see if you don’t notice a little difference over time.
I noticed a difference last night. No problem at all. First day on this app and tried the breathing technique. So far so good. Fingers crossed the more I do on here the better I’ll be!
I definitely have. But without the sweating. My heart feels like it’s going to explode and my body gets numb. It’s our mind that is getting in the way. But how do you make it stop? This is what I need to master! I’m in my head, not the moment.
