I always hear about the reverse problem, but in my case it’s the other way around. Since my early twenties I’ve always struggled to cum and it takes an awful amount of time for me to cum and that is when I can and it’s rare. Usually my partner gets tired or I do and things end before I get to cum. It brings a lot of discomfort to my current partner and it shames me and makes me feel stuck.
How about when you masterbate. do
you ever cum?
I suffered with delayed ejaculation for a year or so, when I first started dating my now wife. I believe it’s the exact same issue as losing an erection, the second you think it’s going you are right.
When DE was my issue I would feel my ejaculation coming and the second I noticed it to went away.
I’m really lucky that my wife and I have extremely open communication and when I explained the issue she was understanding, I then went in to sex with a mindset of ‘if I don’t cum today it’ll be twice as good tomorrow and if I don’t cum tomorrow it’ll be even better the day after’ it really took the pressure off and I noticed as soon as I stopped caring about having an orgasm I was having them with ease.
Thanks, this really resonates with me. I now find that I cum in 1 out every of 3 or 4 of our intimacy sessions. My preference is to make sure that my wife cums and I’ve actually really enjoyed developing my ‘skillset’ to adapt…actually feel that it is all more sensual than just ‘humping’
