I have been struggling with start and stop technique. What happens is if I am not able to reach close to the point of no return, then it’s all good and am enjoying. Now once I reach close the point of no return and feel that in my body, I stop and relax. However, after that whenever I start again, I reach close to the point of no return in just a few thrusts/jerks or just a few seconds. And then I have to stop every few seconds of jerking to not reach climax, until I do. Feels like my body registers if I reach that stage once, then I can’t go back to square one. Anybody else feeling this? Please share your thoughts
How long do you wait after stop? Feel free to wait for a minute or so, if necessary. You can also use some breathing technique to calm down.
If I wait for too long and do breathing, sometimes it just breaks the erection. Then to get hard back again, I start jerking and then it’s the same cycle again as soon as I get hard. And also, as the number of stops increases, the control during the stop phase also decreases drastically. There was a time when I stopped near the point of no return, but then came without touching as I was spectatoring and thought I am too close
I think sometimes when you start the exercises - it can be intense and easy to overthink things. If you can try to feel relaxed going into the ‘homework’. Give yourself some time before, perhaps a shower. Try not to ‘overthink’ things, knowing that it will take a few weeks of practice to get more relaxed about your own arousal ‘graph’. The most important part is making sure you are able to relax your thighs /legs and buttocks, when you feel higher up the scale. If you need to get up and have a walk around that is ok. And if it goes ‘wrong’ that is ok too. Relax your body and keep breathing, try not to be self critical, have some positive affirmations ready and also try to enjoy!
