I’m 47 and my refractory period can be anything from 5 minutes to 24 hours. Frustrating being so random, interested to know if random for others?
The web seems to suggest there’s a rough steady increase as you age, but doesn’t say it’s inconsistent.

Do you notice any reasons why sometimes it 5 mins and sometimes 24 hrs. Can you sense any pattern regarding different lengths of time? How long since the last time you had sex, time of day, overall energy level etc?
Same experience, 38M, not in great shape either.
No pattern, doesn’t seem associated with anything. I’m fit, marathon ready and eat well. BMI 22.
