Kegels- how to do correctly

How do I know if I am doing kegel exercises correct? Are regular or reverse more important? I noticed when doing reverse I hold my breath which I know I am not supposed to.

The best way to know if you’re doing the Keagle correct is to go use the restroom and try to stop the stream of urine. If you’re able to stop the stream, then you’re doing it correct. Make sure you clench your anus as well to prevent a fart so to speak. In order to understand if you’re doing the reverse Keagle correctly, you want to try to push out a fart. If you’re able to do that and move those muscles, likely that you’re doing that method correctly. They are both important, make sure to follow the programs guidelines. But I think if you’re looking for strict rules, doesn’t hurt to do the Keagle, once a day and the reverse Keagle every other day
