What is happening?

I’m 51, no health issues, in shape. I was in a long term relationship of 8 years, had some erection issues in the beginning but they went away quickly and have had strong erections the rest of the relationship. After a split I took about 10 months off of dating to figure out what direction I wanted to go in. I started dating a beautiful woman and we hit it off right from the start. Our first try at intimacy I was a complete dud but figured it was in my head, she asked what was wrong, I told her most likely anxiety and she understood. It took 4 other try’s for me to finally limp across the finish line. When we fool around but I know we cannot be intimate he gets hard, I know its anxiety issues. I always make sure she gets off one way or another. She has been great, even hinted at a committed relationship which I wanted also, I asked, she accepted even though I’m having these issues. I have just started the app days ago and am definitely going to stick with it. Anyone have the same issue? Previous relationship he would be hard just with a thought but I was comfortable and never though twice about an erection but have no confidence my issue will change anytime soon.

Same here. Found super supportive, beautiful woman who understands my issue. I always make sure she finishes several times each session. I’ve gotten pretty good at oral and she calls me magic hands…. (She also gets massages….:sunglasses:)

Exactly the same for me except it was previously a 25 year relationship (I’m 51). I’ve been seeing an amazing woman for about 8 months and always get really hard during foreplay but then go soft when I try to penetrate. I know everything is working ok down there, so the problem is all in my head. I appreciate the response, I figured I wasn’t alone. The app has helped me understand what’s going on, I just haven’t figured out how to reverse it. I’ve like the box breath and have been doing the kegal exercises. I saw my ex during late summer and even though we were not together I tried my hardest to get he in bed (didn’t work) and he was rock hard and ready to go. Good luck with your woman and keep at it. Hopefully things turn around for both of us.
