So I have been using the app for a few weeks and am finding it of little, if any help. Same activities with no feeling of progress and no achievement. Levels are all fine and I see the point , I have experienced CBT for other purposes and it’s fine but i find it hard to use in “ real life” situations. I still have the same negative thoughts, I still have the same anxiety and am beginning to think I could have spent the money better on something else unrelated to this issue, like a nice meal for us or a short break.
I’m in a similar boat to you. I am of the opinion that real meaningful change in any facet of your life takes time, consistency, and a good support system.
I’ve noticed while my anxiety leading into things hasn’t changed or has gotten a little worse, I am more in tune with my body, able to reduce my spectating when in a rhythm. I still have real things I’m working though, but I feel like long term the app will be a big help with providing the resources to tackle your primary problem head on.
Try not to beat yourself up or give up, it’ll be worth it in the end
