This morning my fiancé and I attempted sex. For the previous 12 hours or so, I had been very in my own head about initiating a move the next morning and noticed my breathing changed as well as my headspace. When we went for it this morning, I could tell immediately that I wasn’t going to be hard right away. Instead of “calling it quits” I focused instead on her needs and making sure that I was present to do so. After making her orgasm, and shifted to me and I was in a much better head space to go for sex and it worked! We enjoyed a great morning together all because we shifted the dynamic in the moment and went with the flow. I’d call that a win and a step in the right direction.
