I’ve been doing everything as it comes up on the daily exercise. At that point I had practices box breathing, meditation (daily) and a number of different ways to masturbate (none of the old death grip that I’d gotten so good at.
I think the learning about destress and up and downs in sex helped. The idea that I can go soft at certain points during sex but then change positions/tactics fingers etc and then get hard again a few minutes later has helped a lot. And I’ve been practicing that while masturbating too.
Get hard, go soft, get hard again.
It’s natural and I think it’s helped me stop spectatoring/focusing and getting stuck on softening up.
It’s not all success though. I’d say 3 of four attempts lately have worked fantastic but there are still times where I gently redirect my partner because I’m just too in my own head.
