Do you squeeze/clench your pelvic floor during sex to stay hard?

Had a realisation a few days ago. I always clench my pelvic floor to keep my erection harder and was reading that this is actually a bad thing and can cause blood flow restriction and fatigue in the muscles, leading to weaker erection.

And when I go soft it feels numb and like I’ve just ejaculated even when I haven’t. I think my clenching and tensing the muscles is leading to this.

And just wondering if you do the same or have noticed a difference if you stayed fully relaxed in those muscles???

I would assume it’s not a good thing and something we shouldn’t do?

This was a big realisation and working now to relax my pelvic floor more and focus on not squeezing anything when my partner touches or we have sex.

I don’t have hard flaccid syndrome, but something kind of similar and I think the clenching was making it worse - I’ve just always done this as I know it makes me harder during but might actually ruin everything.

I have just learned this too! Literally doing the exact opposite of what I should do/want to happen. Tried reverse kegels and letting the floor drop while dancing together in the kitchen and let her knew exactly what I thought of her dancing
