Haven’t practiced it much but would like to explore it to help reduce performance anxiety.
meditation really helped me to regain the feeling of control over my mind and has provided me with a great tool in combatting negative or anxious thoughts when they arrive.
I’ve been meditating on and off for years, and it’s always helped reduce my anxiety and stress levels. I know my erection issues are anxiety and stress related and meditation helps me calm down and relax. I just always remind myself that meditation is a long term process not a hack and all of it together calms me down and gets me ready for action.
I’ve tried meditating a few times, but never kept it up (excuse the pun). I got bored, fidgety, my brain skipped off to other topics. Or I fell asleep. But I never had the proper motivation to really try it, other than to stop feeling so stressed and anxious in my general day-to-day. I never previously connected it to my struggles with premature ejaculation or, recently, ED. So I’m definitely up for trying it, and sticking to it, this time.
I am aware of all the benefits of meditation. The issue is making time for it. So putting in that effort to make that time will hopefully make that difference
I haven’t really done mediation for my erection issues but I’m ready to learn how to do it and start!
Better sleep and overall less stress. Helps me focus on the important things and worry less about trivial things that used to stress me out.
Haven’t really tried it. I’m going to from now on though
Never tried it but willing to learn apply it to my life
To fundamentally focus on the task at hand.
Haven’t tried but willing to give it a shot. I’ve accepted that my performance isn’t linked to anything physical and it is all just in my head.
I have yet to try meditation, but I do feel stuck in a constant battle with my mind. Always battling the negative thoughts inside of it when it comes to sexual performance.
I have found the techniques Mojo has shared so dar helpful
I haven’t really meditated I ocassionally do box breathing exercises which help me with stress but never really meditated
Meditation regulates the body in the background. You won’t be consciously aware of its benefits all the time and you won’t finish a medication session like a “new man”. The benefits are taking place in places we often don’t realise or directly see
It clams the mind.
So… I’ve actually actively tried meditation in my second year of university, but also more loosely in my first year of university— (now, as I am writing this, I am a final year). If I’m being honest though, I don’t think I’ve meditated for a long enough period of time to have noticed any long-lasting benefit to my life other than being able to sleep better!
Although I haven’t tried sexual focus meditations, I can definitely tell the difference in my headspace when I am not doing it and when I am regularly practicing. The head is clearer, tasks like reading become much easier and the little things seem to stress me out less. I don’t need to be told about the good effects of meditation, just interested to see how it can help with sex
I have just started and I feel like I am starting to control this anxiety
Absolutely. It’s a daily practice for me & it’s changed my life for the better.
