Hello! Is there any way of removing the erotic stories from Mojo? They seem to defeat the purpose of the app, as compulsively accessing such materials is pretty similar to accessing porn.
Hey there, thanks for this feedback.
It has been interesting to see the different reactions — some members see them as completely separate and have flagged that it has helped them quit visual porn completely and other members have flagged that it’s helped them use their imagination and get into their body during sex. At the same time we’ve also received feedback like yours that they are too similar and unhelpful.
We believe that every Mojo member should be able to personalize the app to what is most useful for them.
So while there’s no way at the moment, we are adding it into the next release which would be approximately month from today!
Thanks for the reply. When the option of having them or not is added, will that be set up so it can’t just be turned back on again? That would be my preference, as otherwise it’s too easy to access something I can crave compulsively. I suspect I’d have to get rid of the app if access was a simple as a settings menu option
Hey that’s a great point, we’re still designing the removal. I personally was thinking of making it delayed (i.e. you can turn it back on, but it would take 24 hours to turn back on so you can avoid the compulsive part, but it’s still accessible if you really do change your mind about its impact). Wdyt think about that?
For me they help me get out years of using hardcore porn that just trigger my sympathy nervous system
Maybe you can create a different app for these materials. That is the fix I see, so you don’t loose users but still make this good stuff available to part of the users that see it as a useful resource

Vicious-gray-marmoset – and thanks for sharing your story about how it helps. We definitely want to keep it in one app because we’ve seen that most people don’t want to download multiple apps!
I think it’s better to have all options here and everyone can find that works for him. If you read others’ problems, you can see that there are a big variety of them and people are different too. I would rather suggest to have the ability to create your own personal page with things that you want, and you can hide things that you don’t want to see.
Maybe just don’t read them? Kinda like choosing not to watch porn?
