Hoooww do people report that going gym increases your testosterone and libido
I’ve just started gym around a month ago and I’m trying to build muscle so naturally I’ll do high intensity workouts, heavy weights 8-12 reps, PPL 6 day split
When I’m home, I’m either semi sore which is a great feeling for my progress but when it comes to the bedroom, I’m just tired from working out and my penis has shrivelled up from all the working out.
Yes I can get hard and it’s great but I’m just tired.
Anyone had a similar issue and how is it now?
Yeah, sounds like you’re going too hardcore. I’ve read that strenuous exercise can temporarily lower your test and I think it was this app that said it can also put and keep your body in fight or flight mode which is horrible for sex drive. And yes, for me everything shrivels and shrinks down there during/after a good workout. It usually takes a few hours for the endorphins and stuff to wear off then I’m “ready to go”. Get your body calmed down, take a shower, and relax. Try not to let your workout schedule run into any potential sexy times.

Take a deload week. It will help
Need more time for recovery - balance training a bit more to optimise for performance. Overtraining not only kills your progress but can over strain your body
the thing is though, I’m trying to build muscle so naturally I’ve got to put in the work, it’s just struggling to find the balance to push myself and beat my PR’s and not overload it
I’ve done that but then it makes the soreness more existent because I’ve taken a break from gym
where are you reading this?
I’ve actually had the best sex after cardio exercises because it reduces stress levels and gets you out of your head.
