What have you learned?

I’m aiming to cut back massively by introducing activities like working out.

I’ve been using porn as an escape tool. To forget about all the stresses and worries in the world and to help me to go to sleep.

Porn and masturbation has become simply a bad habit, like biting my nails.

I watch porn for a number of reason, lack of sexual activity, stressed, or overwhelmed. I’ve been trying for so long to stop watching it but I always slip up. I made it over a year w out watching then slipped up. I just want to be done w it

Pornographic material is everywhere especially with the apps. I feel somewhat immune to it. Definitely is messing up sex in real life.

I watch porn to deal with stress and boredom. It seems to reduce anxiety in the moment but feels like it increases anxiety after the fact.

I used to watch it regularly to just distract and release some stress

There are plenty of ways to remove the subconscious urge of porn through alternative activities and exercises

Ways to be productive instead of porn

I like the trigger/redirect idea. I will plan on keeping a log on triggers to see what’s really behind my cravings.

Sometimes I end up watching porn when I’m bored or end up linking to it from scrolling Instagram. I need to get porn stars out of my algorithm

Definitely too many porn stars in my algorithm and easy access on my Reddit feed and insta.

I maybe watching also when I am stressed and looking for a relaxing escape- interesting discovery

Watching to de stress or out of pure habit

Sometimes I watch mostly because I’m bored. Looking for something that “turns me on”

I think I use porn cuz I’m horny and bored and use it as an imaginary place

Feels good to know there are better ways to cope with frequenting feelings than using porn

I really haven’t investigated why I use porn. This app made me think about it for the first time.
