If cialis is effective, does that mean I have vascular ED?

I (40 M) find it difficult to get and maintain an erecting, particularly with a partner. I know I have some psychological ED, as once I’m in my head, it can be near impossible tonget an election with my partner, but on my own, with enough hands on stimulation I can get hard, but it’s not as hard as it used to be.

Today I got a prescription of cialis and tried 10mg. I stimulated myself and had no problem getting an erection that felt very firm. Does this indicate my problem is more physiological?

Worth noting, I have high blood pressure and take ARB medication.
All blood markers and lifestyle factors are top notch.

Cialis/tadalafil makes it easier to get and maintain an erection regardless of the cause, so it can help even for psychological ED. I’m quite sure my issue is only psychological but I’m using Cialis for the confidence, and it does help to maintain while I get momentarily distracted or worried.

I’m hoping that I won’t need pills forever, but that depends on whether I can get over my distracting thoughts. Mojo seems to be helping but I’m only on week 2. Cialis has made things really fun in the meantime, so we’ve been catching up!

I’m wondering a very similar thing. I wake up almost every morning with incredibly hard erections but even when I try to masturbate , I don’t get hard anymore. I feel like it’s completely in my head but wondering if an Ed med might help… not sure what to do. Like even something like the wax and wane exercise… I did it today and tried for 15 minutes and never got more than semi hard. Crazy to me

Well over the last couple of days I have found that I can in fact get quite a firm erection without cialis, during partnered and solo pleasuring. This is reassuring. But I too have found cialis is just a nice extra confidence booster.
