Erectile dysfunction in your teens

We’d love to hear from you if you’re a teenager and have ED, or if you’re older now but realize that ED started in your teens.

What do you think are the biggest stresses that may be impacting erections for younger guys? What has helped you keep your erections on track? What advice would you give to other teens struggling to get it up?

Yeah, always had ED issues. There is not a lot of times where an intercourse were “successful”. Proper sexual education at my first time would have been better, understanding the body and that sex is not automatic, we also need to learn.

32 now. ED started 16-17. Became sexually active at 13, virginity finally went at 15, that first year was pretty charming. But that relationship ended badly for me, probably derailed the train that snowballed for forever.

My advice? Stop trying* to please your partner, and please them. Stay out of tour head, and make whoopie from the soul. The REAL pleasure of REAL sex is i describable, and only achievable with humility and vulnerability. Your penis is a gift to be given, in whatever capacity! You are not a pornstar! Porn is hardly* real! Be kind, and genuine, and relish in the journey, not the destination. You have the rest of your life to develop stamina, finesse, and control. You are young, and that is okay! Reps, sets, gains. Also, communicate, as much as you can; hopes, fears, goals. Trust creates good sex, not the other way around. Weird penis-y things will happen; let it be okay. I was incredibly hard on myself for a very long time, it didn’t have to be so.

I wish Mojo was around when I was 16.

Stay Strong!

31 now, had ED issues as long as I can remember. Probably used porn too much for educating myself and pleasured myself too much. Maybe to feel good considering I was bullied harshly for being gay and was in denial for a few years. Never had anyone to experiment with. Might have desensitised my penis and brain to other forms of arousal. I remember during puberty I got random erections all the time.
