Quitting for good

Any advice for someone who’s been watching since teenage years? It’s a up and down journey

I remember quitting for 4 months in 2018. It felt so powerful.

Like quitting anything, don’t go cold turkey if you can. Slowly wean yourself away from pornography. Perhaps allocate appropriate time in private or with a partner to enjoy a video or two once in a while. Have no shame in watching porn. We all have our needs and desires as humans and sometimes we need the visual input or feelings we get. You can do this keep up the great work.

Make it so you need less will power to avoid it. If it’s on your phone at your fingertips in a second then you need immense will power to avoid. One of the most helpful things I ever did was limit the adult content on my phone, and delete certain apps. I let my friend choose the password for screen time and settings so I can’t reset it myself. Sometimes the best way to control yourself is to control your environment! Good luck I know you can do it.

Like someone else said, easypeasy method was a game changer for me

And what is that?

Its a boom about overcoming porn addiction and a method for it

I’m on almost 3 months of no porn. I find that it helps to not know the exact number of days. And try to use your imagination as much as you can instead of porn. I think of it now as a crutch, and using my imagination as a form of exercise.
