MOJO has made my hyper aware of my inner critic and it's making things worse

Now that I know about my ‘inner critic’ I think about it more than ever before which is causing erection issues. What now??

Bro just go further and do the drills until you can handle it. It’s all in our minds

It can often feel a bit overwhelming when you first realise that you have an ‘inner critic’ process. Don’t panic - it is helpful to remember that it is there to protect you, it is just a bit full on in certain situations. Take time, just begin to observe when it shows up in life - it might not just be in bed. You can say ‘hi’ to it - it is going to be helpful to be able to ‘talk’ to this part of you and reassure it - it doesn’t need to be so harsh. Then keep going with the Mojo exercises - it is great you are noticing things, brilliant! As you get more used to practicing, you will get more into your body and less in your head. Body scans are great for this, when the thoughts appear, just notice them and let them float through and get back to noticing the part of the body you are on. You’re just at the start of really changing things and you will gain confidence- well done and good luck : )

I agree. Just finished the first excessive and it seems to me that coloring and giving your inner critic a character it breathes more life into it, making a formidable player in the arena.

Remember that the Inner Critic works FOR you, you dont work for it. It’s telling what it thinks is best, but you know it is wrong because it makes it worse. Remember that you are in control, and it might not be immediate, but you can say no to it, or block it out as well. You are in control.

Yeah the inner critic voice can be strong, a friend of mine had a really interesting idea that they got from a psych class. You can give the inner critic in your mind a really stupid sounding voice instead of a voice that sounds like yours or is super serious. By making it sound silly it can become easier to tune out if you find it getting excessive.
