I would like to settle my mind
Stop thinking so much and feel
It’s great to be alone with your own thoughts from time to time but not when your trying to learn how to meditate will be awesome when I learn how to empty my head
I try to meditate 3-4 times a week as part of my pre work morning routine. Just a quick 5-10 min. While the thoughts and troubles of the day still creep in, it’s easier to just acknowledge them and then let them float by… allowing me to just be beaten with my breath for 5 min. I find guided meditation works the best for me
To handle my inner critic better
I would like to control my anxious responses and focus. Right now, I even jump when a partner touches me… .even though I know I’ll be touched and welcome it.
I’m hoping to gain more self awareness and be more ‘conscious’ in my day to day life.
I want to learn how to refocus and react less to stress
I’m hoping meditation can help me control the flow of negative thoughts and help me be in control of my body, emotions and desires.
I hope meditation can help stop the over thinking.
I am/have been sceptical of meditation but the breathing exercises worked really well. Hoping for more of that calm, refocused energy, and stop the current of thoughts
Hoping I can learn to not get as frustrated while meditating!
It’s definitely a practice and not something you just master. It gets easier the more you do it.
Just calm my mind, ease my stress, and regulate my emotions
I want to erase or at least move quickly on from any negative thoughts that arise leading up to sexual activity
I’ve tried mediation here and there over the years. It does improve my mood and clean up some thoughts. I’m looking forward to seeing what consistent practice will do.
In the past I did pretty well in keeping my thoughts from racing. Several stressful life events were able to swamp my mental boat and I am finding it hard to get back to to where I was.
I’m hoping I can use it to calm my racing emotions more than my thoughts.
Meditation has changed my life for the better. I’m excited how it’s going to help me with my performance anxiety.
I’m hoping to find a new way to bring my mind and body in sync. A new way to stop racing thoughts and focus on the moment
