I would like to hear some other peoples journeys about their porn addiction. I think it would help me as I’m just starting my journey. After a couple of months, has anyone been able to get their arousal back in real women ? Also as a heavy user for years could it really take up to the whole year? And even longer.?

Hey man. I was addicted to porn and masturbation for a long time. My personal story, I don’t know if you believe in God or anything, but I got prayed for one day, and I kid you not, from that very day I never once again got the desire to cum. Never. Although, my brain had to relearn how to be attracted to women who weren’t porn models. This process took probably up to 10 months before I began to be attracted to normal women again. I hope this helps

Feel like I am at the start of this journey too, I was able to quit for 3 months but then relapsed out of frustration when I felt not different
Feel like I have hardly any sex drive or attraction, but yet I still get the pull to do porn
Curious in your ten months did you start seeing any progress along the way and if you masturbated without porn during that time?
Middle-silver-scorpion, I guess I should’ve made that point clearer. When I stopped, porn stopped and masturbating stopped. I just stopped one day. It never came back and I haven’t done it since for over a year now
Great question I am the same I would really want to know too . Being addicted to porn. For 15 years I haven’t stopped. I’m 27 now, I’ve got no attraction in real women it’s destroyed my life.
